Cybernous Terms & Conditions — the platform and enrolment agreement for all CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CISA and other Cybernous training programs. Access, payments, IP, refunds, conduct and dispute resolution
What are the terms and conditions for enrolling in a Cybernous training program?
Cybernous Infosec Consulting LLP's Terms & Conditions govern enrolment in and use of all Cybernous training programs, including the CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CISA, GAESP, Offensive Security, Master Malware Analysis, Privacy, and TPRM Success Toolkits. It covers the 180-day access period, program delivery, fees and taxes, intellectual property and acceptable use, learner conduct and account security, data protection, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution under Indian law with jurisdiction in Bengaluru. Refunds, pausing access, and health-related exceptions are governed by the separate Refund, Pause & Exception Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Cybernous does not guarantee any certification examination outcome. By enrolling — confirmed through a mandatory acceptance checkbox at checkout — you agree to be bound by these Terms, the Refund Policy, and the Privacy Policy. Last updated January 2026.

“Cybernous”, “we”, “us” means Cybernous Infosec Consulting LLP (LLPIN ACC-3257), registered office 167, 6th Main, Vinayaka Nagar, Bagalur Road, Yelahanka New Town, Bangalore North, Bengaluru – 560064, Karnataka, India. “Learner”, “you” means the individual who enrols in, purchases, or accesses any Program. “Program” means any course, toolkit, workshop, or training offered by Cybernous. “LMS”/“Platform” means learn.cybernous.com and www.cybernous.com. A “Cohort Program” is delivered to a scheduled batch with live sessions on fixed dates; a “Self-Paced Program” is consumed on the Learner’s own schedule with access granted on enrolment. “Enrolment Date” is the date payment is received. “Start Date” is, for a Cohort Program, the Batch Start Date, and for a Self-Paced Program, the date access is granted (in almost all cases the Enrolment Date). “Access Period” is the 180-day window from the Start Date, subject to Sections 4 and 5. “Content” means all program materials.
2. Acceptance, eligibility and the agreement
By enrolling in, purchasing, or accessing any Program you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and the Refund, Pause & Exception Policy. Acceptance is captured by a mandatory checkbox at checkout. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a binding contract. These Terms, the Refund, Pause & Exception Policy, and the Privacy Policy together form the entire agreement between you and Cybernous. Corporate, sponsored, academic, and partnership enrolments are governed first by their specific written agreement and by these Terms only where not inconsistent.
3. Programs and access
On enrolment you receive a 180-day Access Period to the enrolled Program’s Content, running from the Start Date. For Cohort Programs, live sessions run on the published batch schedule; Cybernous is not obliged to reschedule, record, or make up individual live sessions a Learner misses, except as expressly stated. For Self-Paced Programs, Content is available on demand for the Access Period. Access is personal and non-transferable — you may not share, sell, assign, or transfer your enrolment, credentials, or access. One enrolment permits use by one named individual only. Discretionary access extensions may be offered subject to an additional fee, save where an extension arises under the Refund, Pause & Exception Policy.
4. Fees, payment and taxes
Program fees are shown at checkout and may be quoted in USD, INR, or another currency by region and program. Fees are payable in full at enrolment unless an instalment or corporate arrangement is agreed in writing. Any applicable taxes, including GST, are shown at checkout. Payments are handled by third-party providers (such as Razorpay, Stripe, and PayPal); Cybernous does not store your full card details.
5. Refunds, pausing and health exceptions
Refunds, the self-service pause feature, and health-related exceptions are governed by the Refund, Pause & Exception Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. In summary: a full refund is available only within the applicable window (8 calendar days for India, the US, and most regions; 14 calendar days for EU/UK consumers), subject to the conditions in that Policy; access may be paused twice, each for up to 28 days, via the LMS; and once a Program has commenced its access cannot be postponed except for a documented health issue expressly approved by Cybernous.
6. Intellectual property and acceptable use
All Content and the intellectual property in it — video lectures, practice-question banks, books, notes, and proprietary methodologies — is owned by Cybernous or its licensors. You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Content for your own learning during the Access Period only. You must not copy, download (except where a download feature is expressly provided), record, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, resell, or share the Content or your credentials with any third party without prior written permission. Breach may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund and in civil or criminal liability. Minor or accidental breaches may attract a warning and reinstatement on corrective action; repeated or serious breaches result in permanent exclusion.
7. No guarantee of certification or outcomes
Cybernous does not guarantee that you will pass any certification examination, including ISC² or ISACA examinations. Outcomes depend on your own effort, readiness, and the third-party examination body. Published pass rates, alumni counts, and reviews are historical, aggregate outcomes and are not a promise of individual results. Failing an examination is not a ground for a refund. Exam vouchers and third-party fees, where bundled, follow the third party’s terms and are non-refundable once issued or redeemed.
8. Learner conduct and account security
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You agree to behave respectfully in live sessions and community and WhatsApp groups. Cybernous may remove or suspend any Learner for abusive, disruptive, fraudulent, or unlawful conduct, or for any breach of these Terms.
9. Data protection and communications
Cybernous processes personal data in line with the Privacy Policy and applicable law, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and, for EU/UK learners, the GDPR/UK GDPR. By enrolling you consent to Program-related communications by email, WhatsApp, and phone, including addition to the relevant Program or batch WhatsApp group, which is a primary channel for delivery, updates, and batch announcements. You cannot opt out of essential Program-delivery communications while enrolled. Cybernous does not sell personal data.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cybernous’s total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with a Program or these Terms is limited to the fees actually paid for that Program. Cybernous is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including loss of profits, opportunity, or examination outcomes. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including statutory consumer rights.
11. Force majeure
Cybernous is not liable for any delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disaster, epidemic or pandemic, war, civil unrest, government action, strikes, internet or utility failure, or third-party platform outages. Where such an event materially disrupts delivery, Cybernous will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or extend access.
12. Term and termination
These Terms apply from enrolment until the end of your Access Period (as extended under the Refund, Pause & Exception Policy) or until terminated. Cybernous may suspend or terminate access for breach, with or without notice depending on severity. Termination for breach does not entitle you to a refund.
13. Governing law, jurisdiction and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The parties will first try to resolve any dispute amicably. Failing that, the dispute shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, before a sole arbitrator appointed by Cybernous, seated in Bengaluru, Karnataka, in English. Subject to that, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction. Nothing here deprives an EU/UK or other consumer of any mandatory protection or forum available under the law of their country of residence.
14. Amendments
Cybernous may update these Terms and the Refund, Pause & Exception Policy from time to time. Material changes are notified to enrolled learners by email at least 30 days before taking effect, and the current version with its “Last updated” date is always available on this page. Your enrolment is governed by the version in effect on your Enrolment Date; continued use after a notified change constitutes acceptance.
15. General
If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect (severability). A failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms; Cybernous may assign them to a successor entity. These Terms supersede all prior understandings on their subject matter.

Frequently Asked Questions
What do Cybernous's Terms & Conditions cover?
They cover enrolment and platform usage for all Cybernous programs — the 180-day access period, cohort vs self-paced delivery, fees and taxes, intellectual property and acceptable use, learner conduct, data protection, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution under Indian law. Refunds, pausing, and health exceptions are covered in the separate Refund, Pause & Exception Policy, which is part of these Terms.
How long do I have access after enrolling?
You receive a 180-day access period from your Start Date — the batch start date for a cohort program, or the day access is granted for a self-paced program. Access can be paused, and in documented health cases postponed, as set out in the Refund, Pause & Exception Policy.
Can I share course materials or my login with others?
No. Your enrolment and login are personal and non-transferable, and all content is licensed to you alone for your own learning. Sharing content or credentials can result in suspension or termination without a refund and may lead to legal action.
Does Cybernous guarantee I will pass my exam?
No. Cybernous does not guarantee any certification outcome; passing depends on your effort, readiness, and the examination body. Published pass rates and alumni figures are historical aggregates, not individual guarantees, and failing an exam is not a ground for a refund.
Where do I find the refund, pause, and exception rules?
They are in the separate Refund, Pause & Exception Policy at cybernous.com/refund, which is incorporated into these Terms. In short: a full refund is available only within the applicable window (8 days for most regions, 14 days for EU/UK), access can be paused twice for up to 28 days each via the LMS, and once a program commences it cannot be postponed except for an approved, documented health issue.
What data does Cybernous collect and how is it used?
Cybernous collects registration details, progress, quiz and mock-test performance, attendance, and engagement to personalise coaching and improve programs, in line with the Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law. Data is not sold; only aggregated, de-identified outcomes are used for reporting. You may exercise your data rights as described in the Privacy Policy.
What happens if I breach the Terms?
Content or credential sharing, IP infringement, or fraudulent activity can result in immediate suspension and, for serious cases, permanent exclusion and legal action, without refund. Minor or accidental breaches may attract a warning and reinstatement on corrective action.
Are the Terms the same for individuals and corporate clients?
The core Terms apply to everyone, but corporate, sponsored, and academic enrolments are additionally governed by their specific written agreement, which prevails where it differs. Those agreements may cover multi-seat licensing, invoicing, delivery, and reporting.
Can Cybernous change these Terms after I enrol?
Yes, but material changes are notified by email at least 30 days in advance, and your enrolment is governed by the version in effect on your enrolment date. The current version with its last-updated date is always shown on this page.
Which law and courts apply?
Indian law governs these Terms. Disputes are resolved by arbitration seated in Bengaluru (if adopted) and otherwise by the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, without depriving EU/UK or other consumers of mandatory protections in their home country.
How do I contact Cybernous about the Terms?
Email contact@cybernous.com for legal or contract questions and support@cybernous.com for support and refunds, or call/WhatsApp +91-8595338705. Cybernous aims to respond to Terms queries within 48 business hours.
