Employers look at the credential, not where you studied for it. ISC² awards CISSP after you pass the exam at a Pearson VUE centre and complete endorsement, and it carries the same weight however you prepared. What an interview panel tests is whether you can talk through risk, architecture and incident decisions with confidence. That comes from practice and mentoring, not the delivery format.
No. Cybernous is an India-based training company, and our CISSP programme is taught 100% live online, scheduled for learners in the UAE on Gulf Standard Time. We don't run a classroom or an office in Dubai. The certification itself comes from ISC², the global body behind CISSP, and you take the exam at a Pearson VUE centre in the UAE.
Our fee, priced in USD, is shared on a free 1:1 call along with the batch that fits your schedule. The ISC² exam fee is separate: USD 749, paid directly to ISC² (check ISC² for the current figure). Dubai course prices vary widely, so compare what's included: course length, the size of the practice bank, and whether one expert stays with you from start to finish.
Not to prepare, and not to sit the exam. Full certification needs five years of cumulative paid work in at least two of the eight domains; a four-year degree or an approved credential can count for one of those years. If you pass before you have the experience, you become an Associate of ISC² and have six years to earn it. We check which route fits you on the 1:1 call.
The Dubai Electronic Security Center's Information Security Regulation applies to Dubai Government entities and extends to the consultants, contractors and suppliers working with them. It covers 13 domains across governance, operation and assurance, and requires critical information to stay inside the UAE. It also reserves the head of information security role in government entities for UAE Nationals, while the teams around that role are hired on expertise. CISSP maps closely to its governance, risk, access and incident domains.
Each batch meets once a week for a live block of about four hours on a Saturday or Sunday, or on two weekday evenings, and every batch falls outside a standard UAE office day. Sessions are recorded for revision. Batch times are published in IST on our training calendar; UAE time is 1 hour 30 minutes behind, so a 6 PM IST session starts at 4:30 PM in Dubai.
In person, at an approved Pearson VUE test centre in the UAE, such as those in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. ISC² offers CISSP only at test centres, not online, and not every Pearson VUE site is approved, so confirm your centre before choosing a date. Mid-career CISSP-track roles in the UAE typically pay AED 240,000–540,000 a year, and senior roles AED 540,000 or more, all tax-free. Role-by-role monthly ranges are in The Payoff section above.
CISSP is the broader credential, with eight domains from risk management to software security, suited to people whose work mixes architecture, operations and governance. CISM, from ISACA, is narrower and management-focused, suited to those already running a security programme and reporting to a board. Both are common in Dubai's banks and DIFC firms.
