Our Story
From the Indian Armed Forces to India's most trusted cybersecurity certification company.
For years before Cybernous was incorporated, Manoj Sharma watched a familiar pattern repeat across the Indian cybersecurity industry: ambitious working professionals were paying upwards of ₹40,000 for generic, pre-recorded content, sitting through anonymous webinars, and then walking into exams unprepared. They failed not because they lacked intelligence, but because nobody was accountable for their outcome.
He had spent 20 years in the Indian Armed Forces, followed by years building corporate security programs and personally coaching candidates through internationally recognised certifications. He knew that two things produced real cybersecurity professionals: disciplined preparation and a senior practitioner who personally vouched for you. Neither existed in the Indian coaching market at scale.
In 2022, Cybernous Infosec Consulting LLP was legally incorporated to fix that. Live theory sessions, weekly hands-on labs, and a single ISC² endorser personally accountable for every student who passed. By 2024, REVA University had appointed Manoj to train 150 cybersecurity students annually. By 2026, 2,000+ professionals had been certified through the company's programs across 40+ countries.
The frustration that shaped Cybernous is still our compass: generic coaching produces generic outcomes. Specialists train specialists. We have never offered a general IT course, never diluted into unrelated domains, and never replaced live instruction with a content library. That discipline is what keeps the pass rate at 98.4%.

REVA University partnership
REVA University appoints Manoj Sharma to train 150 cybersecurity students annually in its Advanced Diploma in Cybersecurity. The first cohort delivers a 95% placement rate.
